After Admission
- Academic Advising
- Students are strongly encouraged to meet with their advisor prior to registering for classes.
- To find out who your advisor is, contact the Office Manager in your department:
- Bursar
- Billing and payment information
- IU Email and Computing Accounts
- Create and activate IU e-mail and computer accounts
- Parking
- Any eligible Indiana University student who expects to operate a motor vehicle on University property, including fraternity and sorority property, is required to register that vehicle the first day the automobile is driven on University property or prior to bringing a vehicle to campus.
- There is no grace period for registration of vehicles and acquisition of University decals.
- To register your vehicle, take your student ID and a copy of the vehicle registration to Parking Services, Franklin Hall Room 006.

- Student ID Cards
- Any student who is registered for current semester classes and can be verified by the Registrar's Office or through Continuing Studies is eligible to receive an ID card.
- Academic appointments must be authorized in OneStart before an ID card is processed.
- All persons must present some form of photo identification before a new ID card will be processed.
- There is no charge for your first card.
- Your card serves as your IU photo ID, library card, dining services meal points card, and bus pass, and can be used as a debit card at participating businesses both on and off campus.
