The Office of Development and Alumni Relations serves the School of Education at both Bloomington and Indianapolis. Located on the 4th floor of the W.W. Wright Education Building in Bloomington, the office is responsible for development and alumni programming services for alumni, donors, and friends.

Alumni Relations

The office organizes several alumni outreach events each year. The staff also contribute to the biannual alumni magazine, Chalkboard, that highlights news about the School and the achievements of our graduates.

Development

The Office of Development provides advice and assistance to individuals who are interested in making financial contributions to the School. Gifts through the Annual Fund support today’s critical needs. Support for students to attend professional meetings, the latest technology and instructional needs are a few examples of activities made possible through annual gifts. Individuals interested in supporting these areas may do so by contacting the Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations or they can make a gift on-line to the School of Education.

Gifts to establish endowments are an investment in the future. These gifts, whether through cash, securities, life insurance, or charitable annuities and trusts provide critical support in perpetuity. A named faculty position, a lecture series, undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships are all made possible with endowment gifts.
