My research interests pertain to multiculturalism and social justice issues. Primarily, Imy research focuses on American Indian empowerment, including the effects of Native-themed sports mascots on the well-being of American Indian folk. I also focus on the psychosocial experience of student-athletes, which includes investigations of racial identity, athletic identity, and adjustment issus that are specific and relevant to this population, as well as the psychology of men/masculinities among athletes.
