Assistantships/Employment

Graduate assistantships are the primary source of financial support for doctoral students pursuing full-time study. The assistantship recruitment and selection process is highly decentralized at Indiana University. While the HESA doctoral program does not control the hiring for individual assistantships, we do our best to maintain contact with administrative offices and research shops that typically hire our students and connect applicants with assistantship opportunities. It is imperative that all applicants show initiative and perserverance in pursuing graduate assistantship opportunities.
