Application Handbook Section 3

The Student Teaching Application Process

STUDENTS MUST ATTEND A STUDENT TEACHING APPLICATION MEETING PRIOR TO STARTING THE APPLICATION PROCESS.

The student teaching application consists of two portions:

  • The online application
  • The Paper Application Folder

Online Application

The online portion of your student teaching application should be completed quickly and easily. It consists mainly of demographic data, emergency information, educational and student teaching site preferences.

In order to access the online application:

  • Have an IU Bloomington user ID
  • Be admitted into the Teacher Education Program

You must attend a mandatory application meeting before filling out the online application. If you have attended a meeting, click here to access the online application.

Paper Application Folder

The paper application folder is the hardcopy file that we will keep on you in our office. The folder contains multiple copies of your paper application as well as your original transcript and the signature page. The following links will help you to prepare this application folder.
